Before I Fall
The production that started it all - Before I Fall was a verbatim piece based on the experiences and views of mental health within the Black community.
Five strangers step onto a tube carriage on their daily commute unaware of the ties that link them in various ways. A physical theatre, verbatim piece that highlights at times when you feel most alone, there’s always someone who will catch you before you fall.
Debuted as part of Goldsmiths Degree Show, Tap Out Festival 2019, on 16th & 17th May 2019.

Hoodminister follows Sydalia Walker, a young Jamaican migrant who rises to become the UK’s first Black female Prime Minister. Confronting the harsh realities of her new home, Syd embarks on a journey of self-discovery, where her fearless spirit propels her to 10 Downing Street. However, the weight of being the first soon takes its toll. As past struggles resurface, her faith in God becomes her guiding force. Through physicality, song, and dance, the play vividly brings Sydalia’s story to life, culminating in her boldest decision yet.
